Noot Analytical Consµlting Ltd. is based out of beautiful Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
Don Noot is member of the following:
- Association of the Chemical Profession of Alberta,
registered as a Professional Chemist, - Alberta Society for Human Toxicology.
Don received a B.Sc. in Specialization Chemistry and a M.Sc. in Environmental Science, both from the University of Alberta. Don has over 40 years of experience with organics analysis and laboratory management. He has been working with GC-MS since 1988 and LC-MS since 1996. He has experience as a bench chemist, section supervisor, lab manager, QA/QC officer, applications consultant and expert consultant for a legal case.
Past Experience:
- drinking water research performing testing for disinfection byproducts
- private testing labs in Ontario and British Columbia performing environmental analysis and supervision of a trace organics lab
- government lab performing residue analysis and managing the Chemistry section of the Food Safety Division of Alberta Agriculture
- analytical consulting (training, method development, sample analysis) with Vogon Labs and Noot Analytical Consulting
- quality system development and implementation at both Alberta Agriculture and Vogon Labs
- wide range of experience including analysis for pesticides, veterinary drugs, clinical and forensic testing for human drugs, chemical warfare agents and metabolites, environmental contaminants
